Occupying yourself at home may be challenging for a lot of people. Some people, mostly people who prefer staying at home, probably have no problem with that. However, a lot of people, especially extroverts, have a hard time trying to occupy themselves at home. Particularly when they are so used to going outside. But what if there comes a time where we have to stay at home all day? What if we can’t go out as often anymore? You probably hate me for saying that now. But fret not, I have a few things that I could suggest for you to do at home while you’re quarantining or self-isolating. I know you probably hate those words right now but hey we, unfortunately, have no other choice for the time being. So let’s hop into it:
Reorganize Everything In Your House
I know you can only ever do this once in a while but at least it will keep you occupied for quite some time. Start with the innermost section of your house and work your way out. Maybe add shelves to keep your stuff organized and while you’re at it, you could wipe every dusty surface that exists in your home. This could help you breathe better, you know? Okay so other than that, you could reorganize your closet. This may be better if you could take everything out first, wash what needs to be washed and fold or hang it back in your closet. Take this time to really go through whatever’s in your closet, if you have something that you haven’t worn in a while, consider donating them for someone else to wear. Surely it could serve a better purpose than to just stay in your closet untouched.
With this activity, of course, you’re gonna have to take a lot of time and make the effort to actually maintain the organization of your house.
Learn Through The Internet
You can obtain so much knowledge of so many different things on the internet. As long as you have stable internet like with Time internet Malaysia, nothing is in your way. You want to learn a new language or learn how to cook, you could look it up on Youtube. You can even surf platforms like TikTok for tutorial-like or informative content that may help you in your everyday life. Some of the things you could learn include, crocheting, how to give yourself a manicure, even paint or draw. Take Up A Healthier Lifestyle
Yes, I know you’re sick of people telling you to live healthier. But it’s not as bad as it sounds. Living a healthier lifestyle does not necessarily mean you have to work out and only eat salads. Being healthy is just being the best version of yourself. You could practice self-love while you are constricted to the comfort of your own home and you could try to give yourself the appreciation you deserve. I mean don’t get cocky but what I mean to say is just, love yourself. Before you spend your time and energy to love someone else, love yourself and appreciate yourself first. And one of the ways to do that is to give your body the nutrients it needs. A balanced meal of proteins with vitamins and other groups from the food pyramid. You could follow a simple daily workout video on Youtube just to keep your body active and moving too.
